Sec. 4. "Executive" refers to the following: (1) Except as provided in subdivision (2), in a county subject to IC 36-2-2 , the county board of commissioners (as described in IC 36-2-2-2 ). (2) In a county subject to IC 36-2-3.5 , the county council (as described in IC 36-2-3.5-3 ).
