Construction of ditches or dams so as to lower water level prohibited

Sec. 7. (a) This section applies to a public freshwater lake, regulated or otherwise, that covers an area of at least ten (10) acres.       (b) A person may not order or recommend the: (1) construction; (2) reconstruction; (3) recleaning; or (4) repair; of a ditch, dam, or other project that will affect or is likely to affect a lowering of the water level of the public freshwater lake.
