Indiana Code § 14-25-7-6

"Reasonable beneficial use" defined

Sec. 6. For purposes of this chapter, "reasonable beneficial use" means the use of water for a beneficial use in the quantity and manner that is: (1) necessary for economic and efficient utilization; and (2) both reasonable and consistent with the public interest.
