Study and findings by the general assembly

Sec. 9. Not later than ten (10) years after the compact takes effect under section 9.4 of the compact, the general assembly shall study and make findings and recommendations concerning the following: (1) The appropriateness of the permit threshold amounts established in section 7(a) of this chapter considering: (A) advances made under section 1.4 of the compact; and (B) other new water management technology and practices that become available. (2) Any changes in those amounts that the general assembly deems warranted.
