Methods for determining consumptive use amounts

Sec. 11. An applicant may use either of the following methods to provide consumptive use amounts required under article 4 of the compact: (1) The most current values published for the appropriate sector from: (A) the United States Geological Survey; (B) the Great Lakes Commission; (C) the council; or (D) other sources approved by the department. (2) Site specific calculations for the applicant's facility that are based on standard engineering practices.
