Violations generally

Sec. 1. (a) Except as otherwise provided in this article and subject to subsection (b), a person who violates this article commits a Class C infraction.       (b) Except as otherwise provided in this article, a person who knowingly or intentionally violates this article commits a Class C misdemeanor.       (c) A person may not be charged with both: (1) a Class C misdemeanor; and (2) a Class C infraction; under this section for the same act or omission.
