Indiana Code § 14-21-1-16

Field investigations or alteration of historic property without permit

Sec. 16. (a) Except as provided in section 18 and sections 25 through 27 of this chapter, a person who, without a permit, conducts a field investigation or alters historic property within the boundaries of property owned or leased by the state commits a Class A infraction.       (b) Notwithstanding IC 34-28-5-4 , a judgment for a Class A infraction imposed under this section may not exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000).
