Sec. 2. The department shall maintain the buildings and grounds as a historical monument with emphasis on the early history of the Indiana Veterans' Home when the home was founded by the Grand Army of the Republic as a home for Civil War veterans. [Pre-1995 Recodification Citation: 14-6-27-2.]
