Sec. 6. A person may not operate a boat in a manner that does any of the following: (1) Unnecessarily endangers the person or property of another person. (2) Unnecessarily interferes with the safe and lawful use of public waters by another person. (3) Unnecessarily interferes with or obstructs a special event sanctioned or otherwise legally permitted by the department, another state, or the United States.
