Maintenance; trade secrets; disclosure

Sec. 1. (a) The department shall: (1) maintain records; and (2) by means of a system of record keeping, tabulate the volume, nature, and location; of hazardous wastes generated, stored, or disposed of within Indiana.       (b) Because of the potential relationship between hazardous wastes and proprietary processes of hazardous waste producers and operators of hazardous waste facilities, the commissioner shall, in accordance with IC 13-14-11 , ensure that trade secrets disclosed to the commissioner or an authorized representative of the department are not otherwise disclosed: (1) without the consent of the person; or (2) as required by law.
