Indiana Code § 13-17-15-2

"Law enforcement agency"

Sec. 2. As used in this chapter, "law enforcement agency" means an agency or department of: (1) the state; (2) a political subdivision of the state; or (3) a tribe; whose principal function is the apprehension of criminal offenders.
