Indiana Code § 13-11-2-68

"Environmental audit"

Sec. 68. "Environmental audit", for purposes of IC 13-28-4 , means a voluntary, an internal, and a comprehensive evaluation of: (1) a facility or an activity at a facility regulated under: (A) this title; (B) a rule or standard adopted under this title; (C) any determination, permit, or order made or issued by the commissioner under this title; or (D) federal law; or (2) management systems related to a facility or an activity; that is designed to identify and prevent noncompliance with laws and improve compliance with laws, and that is conducted by an owner or operator of a facility or is an activity by an employee of the owner or operator or by an independent contractor.
