Sec. 50. (a) "Decommissioning", for purposes of IC 13-23 , means the removal or closure of an underground storage tank or aboveground storage tank. (b) "Decommissioning", for purposes of IC 13-29-1 , means the measures taken at the end of a facility's operating life to assure the continued protection of the public from any residual radioactivity or other potential hazards present at a facility.
