Indiana Code § 12-9.1-6-1

"Emergency medical responder"

Sec. 1. As used in this chapter, "emergency medical responder" means: (1) an emergency medical technician; (2) an emergency medical technician-paramedic; (3) a paramedic; and (4) any other emergency services provider, physician, or nurse; on the scene of a motor vehicle accident or emergency situation involving a program participant or accompanying or attending to a program participant patient in an ambulance.
