Doula reimbursement advisory board; terms; vacancies

Sec. 14.3. (a) As used in this section, "board" refers to the doula reimbursement advisory board established by section 14 of this chapter.       (b) A member of the general assembly appointed to the board serves a two (2) year term that expires June 30 of an odd-numbered year.       (c) The terms of the lay members of the board expire as follows: (1) For a member appointed under section 14(c)(2)(B), 14(c)(2)(C), 14(c)(2)(D), or 14(c)(2)(E) of this chapter, June 30 of each odd-numbered year. (2) For a member appointed under section 14(c)(2)(A), 14(c)(2)(F), 14(c)(2)(G), 14(c)(2)(H), or 14(c)(2)(I) of this chapter, June 30, 2027, and every fourth year thereafter.       (d) A member of the board serves at the pleasure of the appointing authority and may be reappointed to successive terms.       (e) A vacancy on the board shall be filled by the appropriate appointing authority. An individual appointed to fill a vacancy serves for the unexpired term of the individual's predecessor.
