Indiana Code § 12-7-2-128.7

"Medication assisted treatment"

Sec. 128.7. "Medication assisted treatment" means evidence based addiction treatment that, to the extent needed by the patient, includes the following: (1) A treatment plan that encompasses comprehensive therapy with detoxification, psychosocial support, and counseling. (2) Access to federal Food and Drug Administration approved medications and devices that are used for the prevention of relapse and treatment of the following: (A) Opioid dependence and with the treatment goal of opioid abstinence or the use of the lowest appropriate dose. (B) Alcohol dependence.
