Sec. 3. An individual: (1) who: (A) applies to the township trustee, as administrator of township assistance, for assistance or is in need of assistance; or (B) obtains free medical aid, hospitalization, public institutional care, or assistance in any part at public expense; and (2) who does not have legal residence in the township; may be returned by the township trustee, as administrator of township assistance, to the individual's place of legal residence if that place can be determined.
