Evaluation of regulatory model; report

Sec. 4. Not later than October 1, 2026, the office of the secretary shall do the following: (1) Make a determination as to whether the operation of the micro facilities under the regulatory model developed under section 3(a) of this chapter served the balance described in section 3(a)(3) of this chapter. (2) Based on the office of the secretary's determination under subdivision (1), make a determination as to whether the office of the secretary will adopt rules specific to micro facilities that incorporate some or all aspects of the regulatory model developed under section 3(a) of this chapter. (3) Submit to the executive director of the legislative services agency, for distribution to the members of the general assembly, a report regarding the pilot program that describes the office of the secretary's determinations under subdivisions (1) and (2). The office of the secretary's report under this subdivision must be in an electronic format under IC 5-14-6 .
