Indiana Code § 12-17.2-7.2-0.6

"Child of a child care employee"

Sec. 0.6. As used in this chapter, "child of a child care employee" means an individual who: (1) is at least four (4) years of age and less than five (5) years of age on August 1 of the state fiscal year for which a prekindergarten voucher is sought for the individual under the prekindergarten program; (2) is a resident of Indiana or otherwise has legal settlement in Indiana, as determined under IC 20-26-11 ; (3) receives qualified early education services from an eligible provider, as determined by the office; (4) has a parent or guardian who agrees to ensure that the child meets the attendance requirements determined by the office; (5) resides with a parent or guardian who is a child care employee, as determined by the office; (6) has a household income that does not exceed eighty-five percent (85%) of Indiana's state median income for the household's family size; and (7) meets the requirements of section 7.2(c) of this chapter.
