Sec. 18.2. (a) At least one (1) adult individual who maintains current certification in a course of pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation applicable to all age groups of children cared for by the child care home shall be present at all times when a child is in the care of a child care home. Certifications accepted under this subsection must include a live return demonstration of skills. (b) An individual who is employed or volunteers as a caregiver at a child care home: (1) must, not more than ninety (90) days after the individual begins employment or volunteer duties, be trained in pediatric cardiopulmonary resuscitation applicable to all age groups of children cared for by the child care home; and (2) shall maintain current certification in pediatric first aid applicable to all age groups of children cared for by the child care home.
