Investigation of abuse or neglect; child care center

Sec. 36. (a) The department of child services shall conduct an investigation of a claim of abuse or neglect in a child care center.       (b) After an investigation under subsection (a), the department of child services shall make a determination of whether or not abuse or neglect occurred at the child care center.       (c) If the department of child services makes a determination under IC 31-33-8-12 that abuse or neglect at the child care center is substantiated, the department shall send a copy of its report to the appropriate licensing office of the division.   IC 12-17.2-5 Chapter 5.
