Sec. 4. As used in this chapter, "life threatening emergency" means a situation in which: (1) a severe threat to the life or health of an endangered adult exists; (2) immediate care or treatment is required to alleviate that threat; and (3) the endangered adult is unable to provide or obtain the necessary care or treatment.
