Sec. 9. The secretary or the secretary's designee shall appoint an acting state ombudsman within thirty (30) days of a vacancy in the position of state ombudsman. The acting state ombudsman has the powers and duties of the state ombudsman. [Pre-1992 Revision Citation: 16-10-4.5-11(b).]
