Sec. 3. As used in this chapter, "veteran" means an individual residing in Indiana who: (1) has served in any branch of the armed forces of the United States or their reserves, in the national guard, or in the Indiana National Guard; and (2) received a discharge from military service under conditions other than conditions set forth in IC 10-17-12-7.5 (2).
