Indiana Code § 10-13-3-12.5

"National name based criminal history record check"

Sec. 12.5. As used in this chapter, "national name based criminal history record check" means a query of the Interstate Identification Index data base maintained by the Federal Bureau of Investigation that: (1) is conducted using the subject's name; and (2) does not use fingerprint identification or another method of positive identification.
