Indiana Code § 10-13-3-10

"Law enforcement agency"

Sec. 10. (a) As used in this chapter, "law enforcement agency" means an agency or a department of any level of government whose principal function is the apprehension of criminal offenders.       (b) The term includes: (1) the office of the attorney general; and (2) the office of the inspector general.
