Sec. 2Y. Misrepresentation of effect of use of gasohol on motor vehicle warranties. (a) No person shall make any false or misleading statement or representation to any person concerning the legal effect of the use of gasohol as a motor vehicle fuel on the applicability of any coverage under a warranty made with respect to a motor vehicle. (b) A person who violates the provisions of this Section commits an unlawful practice within the meaning of this Act. A person who violates the provisions of this Section commits a business offense and may be fined not less than $501 nor more than $1,000 for each offense.
