No person may be denied a credit card, upon proper

Sec. 1a. 

No person may be denied a credit card, upon proper
application therefor, solely on account of unlawful discrimination, as defined
and prohibited in Section 4-103 of the Illinois Human Rights Act.
No question requesting any information
concerning an applicant's marital status shall appear on any credit card
application except in connection with an application for a joint
account.
