Illinois Code § 805 ILCS 150/4

Whenever any Grand Army Post or any camp of United Spanish

War Veterans, or Army of the Philippines, whether incorporated or
unincorporated, shall cease to exist, being the legal or equitable owner
of any cemetery lot wherein are interred the remains of
deceased members of the Grand Army of the Republic, or the United
Spanish War Veterans, or Army of the Philippines, or of their families,
and without having made other disposition of said lot, the title to such
lot shall immediately vest in the city or village where such post or
camp was located, or, if located outside of any incorporated town, city
or village, in the county board of the county, which shall thereupon or
thereafter have the same powers and duties in reference thereto, as
though the same had been conveyed to it by such post or camp, as
provided in section 3 of this Act. The flags belonging to such post or
camp not otherwise disposed of shall be delivered to the Adjutant
General of the State and by him shall be preserved with the military
trophies belonging to the State. All other property of such post or
camp, not theretofore disposed of by it, shall be delivered and belong
to the Grand Army Hall and Memorial Association of Illinois.
