its special charter as provided in section 2 of this Act, in the manner following: (a) The trustees, directors or managers of any such corporation, association or society shall adopt a resolution setting forth such amendment; (b) If the trustees, directors or managers of such corporation, association or society are elected or chosen otherwise than by such trustees, directors or managers, such resolution shall also be adopted by such vote, approval or consent of the persons entitled to elect or choose such trustees, directors or managers as is required in such election or choice.
