Upon the death, incapacity, resignation or removal of a standby guardian or a guardian, the court may appoint a successor standby guardian or a successor guardian. (755 ILCS 5/Art. XIa heading) ARTICLE XIa GUARDIANS FOR ADULTS WITH DISABILITIES
