Insofar as practicable, the provisions of this Act applicable to the parent and child relationship shall apply equally without regard to gender including, but not limited to, the obligation to support. (750 ILCS 46/Art. 2 heading) ARTICLE 2. PARENT-CHILD RELATIONSHIP
