Illinois Code § 745 ILCS 49/69

Employees of State agencies; exemptions from civil liability for the administration of an opioid antagonist.

Any employee of a State agency who in good faith administers an opioid antagonist, as defined in Section 5-23 of the Substance Use Disorder Act, in compliance with Section 405-545 of the Department of Central Management Services Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois shall not, as a result of her or his acts or omissions, except for willful or wanton misconduct on the part of the employee in administering the drug, be liable for civil damages.
