(a) The Juvenile Division of the Department of Corrections is abolished on the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 94th General Assembly. (b) The term of the person then serving as the Assistant Director of the Juvenile Division of the Department of Corrections shall end on the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 94th General Assembly, and that office is abolished on that date. (c) For the purposes of the Successor Agency Act, the Department of Juvenile Justice is declared to be the successor agency of the Juvenile Division of the Department of Corrections.
