Illinois Code § 705 ILCS 405/5-175

Minor accused of status offense or misdemeanor.

It is an affirmative defense to any status or misdemeanor offense that would not be illegal if committed by an adult that a minor who is a victim of an offense defined in Section 10-9 of the Criminal Code of 2012 committed the status or misdemeanor offense during the course of or as a result of the minor's status as a victim of an offense defined in Section 10-9 of that Code.
