the individual districts shall lose their separate existence and be consolidated into the one consolidated district and the consolidated district shall thereupon become a body politic and corporate with all the powers, rights, duties and obligations of other districts organized under this Act. The consolidated district shall succeed to all the records, property, funds, rights and duties of the districts consolidated into the consolidated district.
