as provided in Section 2 and the imposition of certain taxes as provided in Section 4 may be presented to the voters of the territory of the county water commission in a single proposition if the commission, by ordinance, so provides. If such ordinance is adopted, the commission shall certify the proposition to the proper election officials, who shall submit the proposition to the voters in the territory of the commission at an election in accordance with the general election law. The proposition shall be in substantially the following form: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Shall the (insert corporate name of county water commission) issue general obligation bonds YES for the purpose of (state purpose), in the sum of $.... (insert amount), - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - and impose (state type of tax or taxes to be imposed) at the rate of NO (state tax rate or rates not exceeding 1/4%)? - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - If the proposition is approved by a majority of the voters voting on the proposition, the issue of such bonds shall thereby be authorized and such tax may be imposed.
