examination and of the duties, pay and nature of the position sought to be filled shall be given by the Director by publication for 2 weeks preceding such examination, in a daily newspaper of general circulation published in the county in which said sanitary district is situated and such notice shall be posted by him in a conspicuous place in his office for 2 weeks before such examinations.
