(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2027) Sec. 25. Sale of Joliet Park District land. (a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Joliet Park District may sell Splash Station if: (1) the board of commissioners of the Joliet Park District authorizes the sale by a four-fifths vote of the commissioners in office at the time of the vote; and (2) the sale price equals or exceeds the average of 3 independent appraisals commissioned by the Joliet Park District. (b) This Section is repealed on January 1, 2027.
