In order to qualify for a license as an instructor for an enhanced skills driving school, an applicant must: (1) be of good moral character; (2) have never been convicted of driving while under the influence of alcohol, other drugs, or a combination thereof; leaving the scene of a crash; reckless homicide or reckless driving; (3) be physically able to operate safely a motor vehicle and to train others in the operation of motor vehicles; (4) hold a valid drivers license; and (5) pay to the Secretary of State an application and license fee of $70. the influence of alcohol, other drugs, or a combination thereof; leaving the scene of a crash; reckless homicide or reckless driving; vehicle and to train others in the operation of motor vehicles; license fee of $70.
