make application to the United States Department of the Interior for inclusion of the land dedicated pursuant to this Act as a State-administered component of the National Wild and Scenic River System. The State Administrator shall manage the land dedicated pursuant to this Act in accordance with the National Wild and Scenic Rivers Act and the regulations promulgated thereunder.
