Certification of claim or charge.

(a) The township board shall make a certificate, to be signed by a majority
of the board, specifying the nature of the claim or charge and to whom the
amount is allowed. The board shall cause the certificate to be delivered to
the township clerk, who shall keep it on file for the inspection of the
inhabitants of the township. 

 
(b) The aggregate amount of claims or charges that have been reduced to
judgment shall be certified to the county clerk at the same time and in the
same manner as the other amounts required to be raised for township purposes,
which shall be levied and collected as other township taxes, except that in the
townships mentioned in Section 30-180, the amount shall be certified to the
county board, who shall include the amount in their estimate of the township's
expenses.
