The sheriff of each county shall, in accordance with the requirements of the Automated External Defibrillator Act, ensure that: (1) his or her office is equipped with an operational and accessible automated external defibrillator that meets the requirements of the Automated External Defibrillator Act; and (2) an adequate number of personnel in his or her office is trained to administer the automated external defibrillator in accordance with the Automated External Defibrillator Act. and accessible automated external defibrillator that meets the requirements of the Automated External Defibrillator Act; and office is trained to administer the automated external defibrillator in accordance with the Automated External Defibrillator Act.
