Within 9 months after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the 95th General Assembly, the Department of Agriculture shall promulgate rules concerning the control of firewood importation into the State with special attention to controlling the infestation of insect pests, including the emerald ash borer. The Department of Agriculture may collaborate with the Department of Natural Resources to promulgate the rules required under this Section.
