(was 55 ILCS 105/12) Sec. 12. Upon the death of a person who is liable for maintenance charges imposed by Section 6 of this Act and who is possessed of property, the executor or administrator of his estate shall ascertain from the board of directors the extent of such charges. Such claim shall be allowed and paid as other lawful claims against the estate.
