Illinois Code § 415 ILCS 90/3

Definitions.

As used in this Act the following terms have
the following meanings:

 
"Agency" means the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency.

 
"Collection center" means a secured site approved by the Agency to be
used as a base for a hazardous waste collection facility.

 
"Household hazardous waste" means a consumer disposed waste product
intended for household use generally containing constituents that make its
disposal in municipal waste landfills or incinerators undesirable.
Household hazardous waste includes, but is not limited to, the following:

 
 
(1) Waste oil.

 
 
(2) Petroleum Distillate-Based Solvents.

 
 
(3) Oil based liquid paint, paint strippers, and 
 
paint thinners.

 
 
(4) Herbicides and pesticides except, for purposes of 
 
this Act, antimicrobial and disinfectant products are excluded.

 
"Regional collection center" means a facility permitted by the Agency for
the storage of household hazardous wastes.
