As used in this Act: "Agency" means the Environmental Protection Agency. "Board" means the Pollution Control Board. "MCL" means maximum contaminant level, or the legal threshold limit on the amount of a substance that is allowed in public water systems. "Perfluoroalkyl substance or polyfluoroalkyl substance" or "PFAS" means a class of fluorinated organic chemicals containing at least one fully fluorinated carbon atom.
