Safe disposal of unused medications.

Sec. 55. 
Safe disposal of unused medications. 
A person who has custody or control of medication prescribed pursuant to this Act after the qualified patient's death shall dispose of the medication by delivering it to the nearest qualified facility that properly disposes of controlled substances or, if none is available, by lawful means in accordance with applicable State and federal guidelines.
