(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2029) Sec. 62.5. Service of notice. Service by the Comptroller of any notice requiring a person to file a statement or report under this Act shall be made: (1) personally by delivery of a duly executed copy of the notice to the person to be served or, if that person is not a natural person, in the manner provided in the Civil Practice Law when a complaint is filed; or (2) by mailing by certified mail a duly executed copy of the notice to the person at his or her address of record.
