As used in this Act: "Subject to involuntary admission on an inpatient basis", "mental health facility", and "recipient" have the meanings ascribed to them in the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code. "Receiving agency" means a mental health facility that provides substance use disorder or mental health treatment to a person from a state other than the state in which a facility is located. "Receiving state" means the state in which the receiving agency is located. "Northern border county" means the Illinois counties of Boone, DeKalb, DuPage, Kane, Lake, McHenry, and Winnebago. "Sending agency" means a mental health facility located in a state which sends a person to a receiving state for substance use disorder or mental health treatment. "Sending state" means the state in which a sending agency is located. "Wisconsin Southeast Region" means the Wisconsin counties of Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Rock, Walworth, Washington, and Waukesha.
